Founded in 2003, K&J Architecture is an Auckland-based architectural design studio creating thoughtful, practical and timeless architecture for the way people live.
For over 20 years, we have completed over 1000 projects across Auckland and New Zealand, from individual homes and renovations to multi-unit developments.
We combine design thinking, technical expertise and hands-on construction experience to deliver architecture that is considered, buildable and made to last.
Our long-standing relationships with clients, consultants, council planners and contractors are built on trust, clear communication and reliable service.
Our deep understanding of Auckland's planning environment, sites and neighbourhoods allows us to deliver considered, practical solutions that add long-term value.
We work collaboratively with you and your project team, guiding your project from concept through planning, documentation and construction to completion.
Kevin Chen brings extensive hands-on experience across architectural design, project management and construction. Since 2007, he has managed his own residential projects from concept through construction, including individual homes and land development projects. His earlier experience in interior fit-out construction in China further strengthens his practical understanding of how design decisions translate on site.
Maggie Wang leads the planning, client and business coordination side of K&J. She oversees planning processes, client communication, Council liaison and follow-up, project administration and financial management, helping projects move smoothly from early planning through approvals and delivery.
